At the beginning of the new year, more than 50 vessels, including 174,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas (LNG), 300,000 tons of super large crude oil tanker (VLCC), 85,000 tons of bulk cargo ship, 1100 TEU feeder container ship, 13,000 tons of heavy crane ship, etc., and 3 million tons of new ship orders poured into the embrace of China's key shipping enterprises, making a good start for China's shipping industry in the Year of Pigs!
Among the 3 million tons of new ship orders, there are not only bulk carrier and branch container ship orders with traditional advantages of China's shipbuilding industry, but also high-end ship types such as 174,000 cubic metres large LNG ship, 300,000 tons VLCC, 13,000 tons multi-purpose heavy crane ship, which meet the market demand. At the same time, 95,000 tons of ice area enhanced bulk carrier, intelligent marine fishermen and aquaculture vessels and other projects have also signed the letter of intent. China's shipbuilding industry has taken a solid step towards high-quality development.
At the same time, the key shipbuilding enterprises also delivered 400,000 tons of VLOC, 187,000 tons of bulk carriers, 114,000 tons of oil tankers, 82,000 tons of bulk carriers, 74,000 tons of oil tankers, 39,000 tons of chemical tankers, 38,500 tons of bulk carriers and so on. Since January, the production and operation of China's shipping enterprises has maintained stable operation.
